Nate was a four-year starter at Division I and two-time NCAA Tournament appearance Providence College. He excelled at every position during his tenure except goal. He went on to play in the prestigious USCLA post-collegiate league on both the NYAC and Brine Lacrosse Club teams from 1997 to 2004. Nate was also an entrant in the inaugural Major League Lacrosse draft. He continues to play club lacrosse locally in Vermont and participates in regional tournaments throughout the New England area.

A native of Longmeadow, MA and a graduate of the national perennial lacrosse powerhouse with 16 state championships in 21 years and no league losses in the program's history, Nate earned his Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and Sociology in 1997. He currently works in advertising for the Vermont Teddy Bear Company.  He is single, resides in Williston with his black lab Fred and frequently commutes to his native hometown during his off-time to visit his girlfriend and family.  Nate comes from a strong lacrosse family background.  His father was recruited by Syracuse to play lacrosse, but he elected to play hockey at American International College instead after excelling in three sports at Lenox Prep.  Nate's brother Eli was a starting defenseman at Eastern Connecticut State University before transferring to New England College and the youngest sibling is currently enrolled at the Loomis Chaffee School in Windsor, CT, where the lacrosse squad last year finished with a #16 national ranking.
